04: Digital Painting: Final

Datsue-ba is an old woman who sits at the edge of the Sanzu River. She waits for the souls to cross the river. As the guilty souls arrive, she strips off their clothes and hangs them on the tree. If the souls lose their clothes, she strips their skins off instead. The clothes reflect the weight of their sins. If the clothes are too heavy and drop to the ground, it means the souls carry a lot of sins.
